Joshua Sorrow - Lead Pastor
Joshua has served as Lead Pastor of CHBC since December 2015. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He has earned a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. After growing up in Stockbridge, Georgia he moved to Dallas, Texas where he helped plant Normandy Community Church.
Joshua enjoys reading sneaker blogs, complaining about bad coffee and searching for someone to compete against. He believes that there is a billionaire somewhere that masquerades at night as a masked vigilante. Joshua and his wife Sara have two sons named Caleb and Micah who love eating popcorn, jumping on trampolines and waking up their mommy and daddy at all hours of the night.
David Henderson - Executive Pastor
David has served on the CHBC staff since August 2017. He is working toward a Master of Divinity at Denver Seminary. He grew up in a Philadelphia suburb, and then moved to the Chicago area and Dallas before discovering the vast world of low humidity.
You can often find him wearing colorful socks, surrounded by people rolling their eyes at his bad jokes. He doesn’t believe in Sasquatch, but you’re welcome to try to convince him otherwise. David and his wife Victoria have a son named Joel (born 2017) who is very passionate about helicopters and cheese.
Jared Miller - Family Ministry Pastor
Jared is from the Pacific Northwest, growing up in Richland, Washington. He is a diehard Seahawks fan and loves all things Washington State football. Go Cougs! If Jared isn’t at the church, you’ll probably find him sending it on the slopes shredding serious gnar, especially after a great night of barfing mad pow pow up on the rock. His grandpa taught him how to snowboard when Jared was 15 and it’s been a passion ever since.
Jared and his wife, Allie, moved to Colorado in June 2018 to pursue degrees at Denver Seminary. Before working at CHBC, Jared worked heavily in the field of refugee resettlement overseas and domestically. Family Ministries, living at 8,000 feet, and seeing the sun during the winter months is all a new adventure for Jared and Allie, but it’s one they are absolutely loving.
Ule - Campus Administrator
Ule “Yule-Lee” grew up here in Colorado, loving every minute in and around the mountains, and has served on CHBC staff since September of 2018. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design and an MPA in Non-Profit Management. During her free time you can find her re-reading the Harry Potter series, crocheting some random project, or making bad sloth puns. Ule and her husband John have three teenagers and they love to spend time playing board games or hanging out with their chickens and rescue dogs.
